Corporate Philosophy

 Our company regards the preservation of the global environment as one of the most important issues facing humanity. We remain committed to the pursuit of environmentally conscious corporate activities

Environmental Policy

 Our stainless steel re-rolling factory is located on the shore of Lake Biwa. We therefore undertake our environmental management activities in accordance with the policies described below and strive to maintain harmony with the local community.

 We keep up to date on all of the environmental aspects of our factory activities and products, with the goals of preventing pollution and establishing an ever-stronger environmental management system.

 We abide by all environmental laws, ordinances, agreements, and other requirements that are relevant to NAS Stainless Steel Strip MFG. Co., Ltd.'s factory activities and products. We also seek to improve environmental preservation activities based on our own voluntarily imposed standards.

 Among the various environmental aspects of our factory activities and products, we place special emphasis on the following environmental management issues:

      1)Reducing and recycling industrial waste
      2)Appropriately managing and reducing the use of organic solvents, chemical substances, and other
       such materials used in production processes
      3) Reducing energy consumption (electricity and LPG)
      4) Maintaining and managing the quality of industrial wastewater
      5) Maintaining and managing industrial waste gases

 To achieve these environmental goals, we set a number of intermediate objectives, and encourage all employees at our factory to contribute to environmental management.

 Responding to current social requirements, we hereby disclose our Environmental Policy.

  

Declaration of Quality

Quality Policy

(1) The Quality Policy is described below:

 a) To maintain the quality needed to earn and maintain the trust and satisfaction of our customers and to supply products consistently and in a cost effective fashion, we abide by all applicable laws and regulations; work as a team to maximize the company's capabilities; and strive to improve customer satisfaction.

 b) To encourage the participation of all employees, we establish and review quality target achievement measures for employees at all levels, including individual improvement activities and JK activities.

 c) Management undertakes follow-up activities, including quality review meetings, individual improvement activities, and JK activities, in order to maintain the quality management system and continually strengthen its effectiveness.

(2) To ensure that this Quality Policy is understood, implemented, and maintained across all departments, I will set new quality objectives for each fiscal year and take the following actions:

 a)I will work to ensure that each department and section establishes quality objectives for implementing this Quality Policy. I will act to achieve these objectives and follow up on efforts to implement the quality management system.

 b) To ensure that the Quality Policy is thoroughly understood and implemented by all employees, I will do my best to raise employee awareness by presenting the Quality Policy through those who are in managerial positions as well as through morning meetings, conferences, in-house newsletters, and other forums.

 c) I will work to ensure that all employees abide by this Quality Manual, internal standards, and standard work procedures and that all employees strive to maintain and improve quality by undertaking business activities in accordance with all specified standards and procedures. 

 To fulfill the duties above, I will appoint a quality manager and transfer authority and responsibility for establishing, executing, implementing, and improving the quality management system and for raising awareness of customer requirements throughout the company. I give my guarantee that no departments will constrain the quality manager's authority and responsibility. I pledge to solicit and review reports from the quality manager regarding the implementation of the quality management system at regular intervals.
